Maasc is an innovative half-mask Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR). This PAPR delivers the highest level of protection with an Nominal Protection Factor of 2000 or a total inward leakage < 0.05%. Maasc is a certified Powered Filtering Device EN 12942 TM3P R SL. TM3 filtering class stops most of pollutants at 99.95% such as smokes, aerosols, dust and viruses.
Maasc is a PPE falling under the EU 425/2016 regulation. As such, this certified device was tested by accredited laboratory and validated by a Notified Body.
Our EU Declaration of Conformity document affirms our adherence to the DIRECTIVE 2011/83/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL. Top-grade materials
Maasc is made of top-grade materials to deliver a high performance device. To respect the stringent CE harmonized standards, materials used are flame-resistant, which means it can even be momentarily exposed to direct fire with no risk of combustion. We use only premium LFGB European food grade, safe non-toxic silicone with no fillers, BPA, BPS, PVC, Lead, Latex, Phthalates, or other micro-plastics. Hypoallergenic, Bacteria Resistant and Easy Cleaning. Anti-Slip, Unbreakable & Shock Resistant. Eco-friendly, Durable and Sustainable. This is the safest silicone in contact with your skin.
The LFGB CE food-grade silicone seal avoids leakage of air both inwards and outwards, avoiding the infamous foggy glasses and the ingress of unfiltered air. And more: the soft silicone is cool to the touch and won't mark your face. It seals surprisingly well even for the stubble.
The use of replaceable and protected circuit Li-ion batteries against over charge, over discharge, short circuit and overheating was desirable since they are safer and easier to recycle. In compliance with the JEITA guideline (Japanese guideline for lithium batteries) the batteries charging mode is only allowed between 0°C and 45°C ambient temperature, again to increase your safety.

Without breathing pipe nor secondary blowing unit, Maasc is ergonomic and delivers a comfortable breathing. Using Maasc is ideal when working in confined spaces, driving vehicles, while enabling a full head and body mobility. Eventually, Maasc could easily be combined with other PPE such as goggles, hard hats etc.
